With the Gourmet kitchen knives Wüsthof has introduced a collection with an amazing price-quality ratio. Of course, the quality is in keeping with the high level of Wüsthof. The blade is laser cut from a single piece of chromium-molybdenum-vanadium steel. The polypropylene handle is sturdily attached to the blade with rivets. The blade runs throughout the entire handle. The result is that the knife looks a lot like the knives from the Wüsthof Classic collection. However, because of the production method used the knives from the Gourmet collection are a lot more affordable. The weight is also lower, which is great for many users.
