The Laguiole en Aubrac sommelier knife oyster shell is a luxurious sommelier or waiter’s corkscrew. Remarkable about this knife is the handle which is made from ground oyster shells and synthetic resin. The dark pieces of shell have a purple-blue colour and the white pieces shimmer in the light and change colour from white to mother of pearl. The sommelier knife is comprised of a corkscrew and a foldable serrated knife to remove the foil around the bottleneck. The blade is enhanced with a small cut-out that also serves as a bottle opener.
