The L’Atelier du Vin Bilame Twin Blade corkscrew is the perfect corkscrew for the true wine lover. The Bilame corkscrew is a so-called Twin Blade corkscrew. The two “blades” are the protruding pins. You slide them between the cork and the inside of the bottleneck to pull the cork out of the bottle. The Twin Blade corkscrew is great for opening older wine bottles, or other bottles with a natural, brittle cork. Because the corkscrew does not bore into the cork, the cork cannot break. It is even possible to close the bottle again with the same cork.
